Pond Cottage...

...is home to Ian & Stu, two guys who have been together for around 16 years, spending the last 12 of them in this old farm worker's hall-house cottage, set on 3/4 acre, surrounded by an 8000 acre farming estate in rural north Essex.  It's a grade ll listed thatched building parts of which date back to the 17th Century.

Over the years we have extended and renovated the cottage as well as expanding and redesigning the gardens. We dug down the old fishpond deep enough to house a small collection of koi, guarded by a goose, 20 ornamental ducks and our Border Terrier, Meg.  Here's a bit of what we've done.....
